About the medications
Are these medications FDA-approved?+
Our program may include both FDA-approved medications and compounded formulations, depending on availability and your individual clinical factors. Compounded medications have not been evaluated by the FDA for safety, effectiveness, or quality. All medications are prescribed by a licensed provider and dispensed by a state-licensed pharmacy.
What is the difference between semaglutide and tirzepatide?+
Both are prescription medications used to support weight management. Semaglutide is a GLP-1 receptor agonist, while tirzepatide acts on both GLP-1 and GIP receptors. The right option depends on your health profile and goals, and your provider determines what is appropriate for you based on your assessment.
B12 Shot
Why a shot instead of a pill?+
Injection bypasses gut absorption and delivers the full dose — helpful when appetite or absorption is reduced.
How fast will I feel it?+
If you were low, energy often improves within days to a couple of weeks.
Can I get too much?+
B12 is water-soluble; excess is largely excreted, so toxicity is very rare.
Before you start
How do I get started?+
Getting started is simple. Sign up on our website for an initial consultation. The medical team will assess your health and weight management goals to develop an appropriate treatment plan based on your health assessment, which may include GLP-1 receptor agonists or dual GLP-1/GIP receptor agonist medications when appropriate.
Who is eligible?+
You must be at least 18 years old and complete a health assessment. Eligibility is determined by a licensed provider based on your medical history, current medications, and weight management goals. Not everyone is a candidate; the provider's clinical review is what determines whether treatment is appropriate.
Do I need to see a doctor in person?+
No. The process is fully online: you complete a health questionnaire, a licensed provider reviews it, and if treatment is appropriate, issues a prescription. No in-person visit is required.
How does the online visit and prescription process work?+
You complete an intake questionnaire about your health history and goals. A licensed provider reviews your responses, and if treatment is appropriate, sends a prescription to a licensed pharmacy. If the provider needs more information, they will follow up before any prescription is issued.
During treatment
Are there any side effects associated with GLP-1 receptor agonist medications?+
Like all medications, GLP-1 receptor agonist medications can have side effects. Common side effects may include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and constipation. The medical team will monitor your progress and adjust your treatment as needed to help manage side effects and support your health journey. Individual responses to medications vary, and not all patients experience the same side effects or benefits.
Who should not take these medications?+
GLP-1 medications are not appropriate for everyone. They are generally not recommended if you have a personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma (MTC) or Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia syndrome type 2 (MEN2), a history of pancreatitis, or if you are pregnant, trying to become pregnant, or breastfeeding. Your intake questionnaire screens for these and other factors, and your provider makes the final determination.
How is my dose determined, and is it safe?+
Your provider determines your starting dose and any adjustments based on your health assessment and how you respond. Doses are typically increased gradually (titrated) to help manage side effects. Always take your medication exactly as prescribed, never adjust the dose on your own, and reach out to the care team with any concerns.
Getting your medication
How are my weight management medication prescriptions determined?+
The medical team determine appropriate medication options based on your health profile, weight management goals, and other medications you may be taking. This helps ensure that you receive an appropriate dosage based on clinical guidelines and your health assessment.
How do I receive my prescription medications and refills?+
Your prescription will be sent directly to your preferred pharmacy or delivered to your home. Refills can be easily managed through our online portal or by contacting our support team. All medications are dispensed through licensed pharmacies in compliance with applicable regulations.
How is my medication shipped?+
Medications are dispensed by a state-licensed pharmacy and shipped to the address you provide. When a medication needs to stay cold, it is packaged to protect it in transit, and you will receive tracking information when your order ships.
Help, billing & privacy
How much does it cost, and are there membership fees?+
Pricing is shown clearly before you check out, so what you see is what you pay, with no hidden fees. See each treatment's page for current pricing.
Does insurance cover it? Can I use HSA or FSA?+
Compounded GLP-1 medications generally are not covered by insurance. Many patients pay with an HSA or FSA card using their prescription; keep your receipt for your records.
What if I have questions or concerns during or before my treatment?+
Phone support is available 7 days a week from 6am to 6pm Pacific time at 888-896-1612. Our healthcare team is available to address any questions about your treatment plan, potential side effects, or other concerns you may have.
How do I cancel?+
You can reach out via chat or call 888-896-1612 to discuss cancellation or changes to your treatment plan.
Is my information private and secure?+
Yes. We follow HIPAA requirements to protect your personal health information. Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and is only accessible to the care team involved in your treatment.
How soon will a provider review my submission?+
A licensed provider typically reviews your intake within 24 hours. If anything needs clarification before a prescription can be issued, the care team will reach out to you.
Semaglutide
What is Semaglutide?+
Semaglutide is a GLP-1 receptor agonist used to support weight management. It mimics the GLP-1 hormone to help regulate appetite and increase feelings of fullness. Compounded medications have not been evaluated by the FDA for safety, effectiveness, or quality.
How does Semaglutide work, and what should I expect?+
By acting on GLP-1 receptors, semaglutide can reduce hunger and support weight management when combined with diet and exercise. Your provider starts you at a low dose and adjusts it gradually to help manage side effects.
What are the side effects of Semaglutide?+
The most common side effects are gastrointestinal, such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, or constipation, and they often ease over time. Your care team will help you manage them, and individual responses vary.
Stool Softener (Monthly)
Why do GLP-1s cause constipation?+
They slow gastric emptying and gut motility, which can harden and slow stool.
How fast does it work?+
Stool softeners typically take 1–3 days — they're for comfort and prevention, not urgent relief.
What else helps?+
Water, fiber, and movement. Tell your provider if constipation is severe or persistent.
Tirzepatide
What is Tirzepatide?+
Tirzepatide is a dual GLP-1 and GIP receptor agonist used to support weight management by helping regulate appetite and metabolism. Compounded medications have not been evaluated by the FDA for safety, effectiveness, or quality.
How does Tirzepatide work, and what should I expect?+
By acting on both GLP-1 and GIP receptors, tirzepatide can reduce appetite and support weight management alongside diet and exercise. Your provider titrates the dose gradually based on how you respond.
What are the side effects of Tirzepatide?+
The most common side effects are gastrointestinal, such as nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, or constipation, which often lessen as your body adjusts. Your care team monitors your progress and helps manage them.
